My Wallet Card -Beat This Jr. Junkie!

It's not easy holding up a baseball card and taking a picture of It with  chop licking lions looming.

Luckily I was able to snap a couple off and make It out of the cage In time to make It to my next Wallet Card destination....  

...the Mediterranean!The Mermaid totally ruined my shot but on the bright side,I now have proof of their existence.Also,sea salt tastes better when processed.Quick question.Do you like Dinosaurs?Well I do.So much so that our next Wallet Card destination takes place 245 million years ago In an undisclosed prehistoric region.It took me all day to get there,though.Pff,time machines.

Sorry to break It to ya Junior,but yeah,I went to Mars,too.Which Is where I took this amazing shot of my Wallet Card with a beautiful martian backdrop In the distance.And yes,extraterrestrials exist,they're just shy ;)

As I mentioned before,I've been pretty busy with home renovations and painting so posts have been scant as of late.Then I figured,why not mix business with pleasure?So I brought Lenny with me on a trip to Home Depot and snapped a quick pic!What grade do you suppose PSA would give those corners?

The Go-Kart edition!Yeah I know ,its a horrible shot.If I didn't start the post off with "The Go- Kart " edition,youd probably have no idea where the pic was taken.I brought my personal camera with me ,and left the memory card at home ,so this crappy shot was taken with my phone cam.I was hoping to capture some Karts in the pic but those things were pretty damn fast,blurring the photo.Anyways,old Dykstra has really taken a beating!

My Wallet Card - Day 3

With my cousin In from Cali for a few days,I decided to take him around town to check out some of the small hobby shops we have here In Rochester, NY.One of the more prominent shops Is Comics Etc.They specialize In comics but carry a wide variety of  collectibles,from action figures to gaming and sports cards.I was hoping to find some Topps High Tek goodness but they didn't have any,so instead I snagged up a couple of packs of 2015 Topps. Didn't pull anything special either ,although I did get my first 2015 Future Stars card. I figured this would be a nice time to take Lenny out of the old wallet for an ideal photo op.

These FS cards are tremendously underwhelming.

The Yanks,A's and Mets have some of the nicer looking borders.

That green border looks a little like  grass.No,not that kind.

Here's Dykstra next to my childhood Pony League Baseball shirt.I stopped by my parents house the other day and decided to snap a quick pic.My mom has been saving that shirt for me since the early 90's and It's still In pretty good shape.
